Ruth Radcliffe has been working as a freelance art tutor and illustrator for many years. She has had a pencil in her hand since she was 2 years old!

Ruth led the Drawing Sundays sessions for children at the Barber Institute of Fine Arts. As well as delivering drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and collage workshops at New Art Gallery Walsall, BMAG, Symphony Hall, Wolverhampton Art Gallery and many schools and nurseries. Ruth also worked as the illustration tutor at BMETC, Brierly Hill Campus, for 2 years and has taught art to children privately too.

Ruth is part of Walsall Creative Factory alongside Deb Slade & Maxine Hayward. The little workshop has become the creative, social centre of the local community and is a sanctuary and safe place for creative folk, parents, children and anyone feeling isolated to come and make art, craft or just have a chat and a cup of great coffee!

Ruth also designs and sells her quirky, colourful greetings cards and prints both online and through Paperdolls Handmade. On top of all that she is nanny Ruth to 2 year old Sofia.
