LifewithArt is always looking for new opportunities to support local community groups. East Bristol youth group – Grove Road Youth Club – was delighted to offer their young participants 2 fun-filled art workshops thanks to a LifewithArt donation. Bristol Ape Project brought along their specially adapted ‘spin painting’ trike which allowed the young people to produce amazing artwork via pedal power. Messy but effective! Community artists Maria and Becky then delivered a theatrical make-up workshop transforming the youth club members with make-up, fake scars and home made casts.
Thank you for your donation to Grove Road Youth Club. These creative workshops have been great in encouraging members to express themselves and is a nice way for parent volunteers and members to interact. We are using some of the funds to buy new art supplies so we can have a weekly art corner. As a completely volunteer-funded organisation this donation has been vital: thanks again!
