Congratulations to the winners of the 2016 Myaware LifewithArt art competition.  The 44 pieces of work, produced by people affected by myasthenia gravis including family members and carers, will make up the new exhibition to be displayed in all LifewithArt Charity Arts Centres including Northern Ireland from June this year. The competition judges had a difficult job choosing which pieces to include in the exhibition as well as picking their top 4 favourites.

LifewithArt trustee and first time competition judge David Gidney said “I loved every minute of it. I was impressed by the variety and quality of the work but for me it’s important that the winners tell different sides of the story of life with myasthenia.  A sense of optimism and the ability to rise above difficulty shone through the entries and the winners in particular.”

Thank you to everyone who entered the competition and congratulations to those whose work will be included in the forthcoming exhibition. Keep an eye on the LifewithArt website for details of where you can see the new exhibition.
